Birthday Celebrations - Inkspirations Inspiration Challenge #14

Hi,
I was a bit stumped this week with Keesh's Inkspirations Challenge . Here is the inspiration photo:
After procrastinating all week, I created this:

I took my inspiration from the larger pillow on the left (with the three large buttons on it), the colours and stripes of the linen, and the shells and waves.
I love this greeting from Upsy Daisy - the font and design make it really versatile and suitable for masculine cards.

Stamps: Seaworthy, Upsy Daisy
Cardstock: Sahara Sand, Basic Grey, Baja Breeze, Whisper White, Basic Black, Urban Garden DSP
Ink: Basic Grey, Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss, Chocolate Chip
Accessories: Kiwi Kiss striped grosgrain ribbon, Whisper White 5/16" jumbo brads, 1/2" circle punch, paper piercer, mat pack, blender pens, dimensionals.

Hope you're having a great week,
Genelle.

  2. WOW this is a super card for any man! You have done a fantastic job with the colouring in of the surfer. You and I both saw 'beach' with this challenge, must be both in coastal mode hey?

  3. Ooh Genelle, this is nice!! Stripes to tie in with the beadspread and a surfy pic to pull in the beach. Great composition and the piercing is a nice touch too.
