I had some time this morning to work on Keesh's Inkspirations Colour Challenge. I loved the colours this week - can you believe I got out my Pretty in Pink for the first time ever for this card?! Here are the colours:
And here is the card I made:
And a pic from a different angle:
Stamps: Petal Pizzazz, Cheer and Wishes
Cardstock: Pretty in Pink, Basic Black, Whisper White, Basic Grey DSP (from hostess Patterns Pack II)
Ink: Basic Black, Pretty in Pink (marker)
Accessories: Clear circle rhinestone brads, paper piercer, mat pack, dimensionals, Stamp-a-ma-jig, 1 3/4 circle punch, 2" circle punch, Pretty in Pink brads, Basic Grey taffeta ribbon, scallop edge punch.
Enjoy what's left of the weekend - I am off to make some more cards!
Genelle.
ETA: For Jo (*waving hi*)- the stamens on the little black flower are part of the stamped image - I just stamped it in black and added the clear rhinestone to the centre, the white stamens are the white cardstock showing through. Hope that helps! (Thanks also to the others who have left lovely comments!)
Ooooooooh Genelle - I REALLY like this!! Great job!

Hi Genelle
ReplyDeleteThis is such a lovely card. The pattern paper works so well with your design and I love the flower embellishment. Each little added touch, the brads and the paper piercing work so well to make a beautiful card.
Have a wonderful week.

It's gorgeous !!
ReplyDeleteOH very cute Genelle! I love how the circle overhangs the side of your card.... so effective!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for playing!
Love Keesh x
Genelle - thanks for your comments on my most recent card - aren't Keesh's challenges great? And I love that the answer to my question was so simple - from the card, the stamen almost look dimensional - must have been because of the little rhinestone in the middle of the flower. Thanks, :) Jo
