Today I created this card for
Makeesha's latest colour challenge. I have been reading some fantastic blogs for a while now, and since receiving my Starter Kit and first Demonstrator order on Friday I can finally play along! The colours are SU! Baja Breeze, Ruby Red, Whisper White and Basic Grey. I decided to set myself the extra challenge of making a more masculine card, but I don't have any typically masculine stamps, so I chose Pocket Silhouettes, stamped in VersaMark and white Craft ink and layered on Ruby Red & Baja Breeze cardstock, with Basic Grey as the base. The sentiment is from Trendy Trees, and I repositioned the words to fit inside the hodgepodge square using my Stamp-a-ma-jig. I added ribbon, a silver brad and paper piercing to finish it off.
Hopefully the quality of my photos improves as I go along! Thanks Keesh for this interesting combo!
Genelle.
